Joy is just a magical floral perfume, a beautiful blend of jasmine and rose. Apparently it takes 10,000 jasmine flowers and over 300 roses to make 30mL of Joy parfum. It also contains tuberose and ylang ylang, but the jasmine really predominates. It’s pleasantly intoxicating. Perfume critic Luca Turin has said of Joy that, "the whole point of its formula was to achieve the platonic idea of a flower, not one particular earthly manifestation." Wow! Elegant bottle. It’s just perfection and I adore wearing it.
